DPF off requires DPF to be reset with diagnostics on originl software. Ensure all ash counters are reset. Write modified file, then drive the car for 20mins. The DPF WILL go out.
If DPF light present on dashboard post remap, then needs diagnostic work. No drilling but complete removal on Siemens PPD. Always check live data reading with VCDS (measuring blocks 067 and 075). DPF pressure needs to be way below 10 mbar on idle (ideally 1 mbar on idle). Ash counter resets on mod file only drop DPF ash counter to 20% hence it needs to be driven for 5 miles to go down to 0%. When it reach 15% DPF light goes off. Check all DPF pressure sensors working, and not giving false values from broken sensors.
